You are not less queer, just less interesting to me.
As a side note, I’ve understood bisexual monogamy.  Granted, I can’t relate to monogamy in general at this point, but specifically in regards to bisexuals, I have a hard time seeing how you can just give up an entire gender for the rest of your life unless it’s really not that big of a part of your sexuality.  I have an even harder time relating to monogamous straight partners of bisexuals who can ask them to give that up without feeling like a tremendous shithead.
I mean, think about it.  The person above said they have no doubt they’ll spend the rest of their life with someone of the opposite sex.  If they’re monogamous, that means that getting together with their opposite sex life partner will mean the end of them enjoying sex with anyone of the same sex as them.  Forever.  For a bisexual female, wouldn’t that essentially put you in the position of saying, “Wow, I love girls so much!  Can’t wait to meet a great boy and then never fuck a girl again!”
That just seems weird and sad to me, but again, I don’t really understand monogamy.  My life partner is sleeping a few feet from me, and I can still fuck and love whomever I want, and so can she.

I can’t even begin on how dumb your argument is, so I’ll just give you this.

*rubs temples and stares blankly at the screen*
I…. you are really dumb.
I identify as bisexual. I’ve been with men and women. In dating/being with both I have realized that if I were to settle down it will no doubt be with somebody who is cis-male. I just… it’s something that OP has obviously figured out along the way.
OP is in the same boat/mindset as I am. To try to discredit their feelings is pointless and dumb.

It’s always odd to me when the queer community passes judgment on other members of the queer community. You’re bi and are going to end up with someone of the opposite… cis-gender (I don’t know how to use this term properly)… it’s not a big deal. People that deride that in any way deserve a derisive eyebrow raising. Viciously and with wild abandon.

Bisexuals who are in monogamous relationships with someone of the opposite gender (and plan to be, indefinitely) are less interesting than…what, exactly?  People who think that being sexually and romantically attracted to both men and women means you have to fuck both men and women, constantly?Hi, everyone, then.  I’m Courtney and apparently less interesting than small-minded sluts.

What an ignorant, uninformed statment. Not the OP, that first response. Excuse me. I am attracted to both men and women and I am serially monogamous. I have no doubt that I will fall in love with A PERSON and marry them and hopefully stay with them for the rest of my life. I don’t care if that person is male or female or both or neither. I will love whoever the hell I please and if I decide to marry them and be monogamous with that person it is because I love them AS A PERSON not for their gender. Why does it matter if I’m never having sex with men or women again because of that decision? I’m having sex with the person I’ve chosen to commit myself to for life. That is FAR more important. You need to turn around and inform yourself about both monogamy AND bisexuality. Also about yourself as a person, as I am suspect of anyone who passes judges people in their own community thusly. If you’re happy in your lifestyle and it suits you and your partner that’s wonderful. It really is. But just because you lack the ability or willingness to comprehend and RESPECT something that is different from your own lifestyle does not mean it’s wrong or flawed or impossible.

Kathy is one of the most interesting people I know. I rest my case.
